「Fabulous location just a stones throw from the beach. Everything you needed was in the cottage. Floors a bit creaky but to be expected in an old building. No trouble parking on the street though not sure if this is the case in the height of summer. Bit confusing about rubbish(other than a weekly collection mentioned) but found recyling bins on the promenade and a biffa bin near the harbour for general waste. Good collection of books (read 2 during my stay!)Would happily stay at Bari again.」

「We had such a lovely week here. It was cold outside around 5 degrees but the cottage was lovely and warm. We wrapped up and went somewhere every day, just a short drive away. Poppit beach, with a cafe which sold amazing doughnuts. Aberporth and Mwnt beaches all lovely and dog friendly this time of year.We visited Cenarth Falls which was lovely and walked from Llechryd to Cilgerran along the river. We had fish and chips from the local chip shop which were great. Coming back to Woodpecker Rest...

「What a perfect stay in an interesting cottage it was cosy very well equipped and very clean very dog friendly bowls blankets and towels also dog treats provided.. and what a lovely welcome basket welsh fruit cake pancakes waffles and even a bottle of prosecco from the owners dawn and Mike who are friendly and very helpful we had plenty of logs for the initial fire a nice forest walk for the dogs just up from the cottage a lovely little village we were made to feel welcome as soon as we arrived...
