「The staff was amazing and the facility was spacious and clean anywhere we went. There were great spaces to releax by the pool, enjoy breakfast, and sun. The staff was extremely helpful and offered to book a win tasting tour nearby which was such a pleasant experience. I would come back to stay if I were in the area.」

「This trip just keeps getting better and better! This is NOT a hotel. It is more a resort guest house. Complete luxury with a setting in the hill/mountains of the Douro valley that is right out of movie setting. Friendly helpful staff always eager to help. The room was luxurious, the included breakfast was just out of this world. Off season prices made this incredible place even better! The only reason I gave it 5 starts was because 6-7-8 were not available!」

「Staff at the hotel were superb.. I read some of the comments about five star hotel in previous reviews while the hotel itself may not be a five-star the staff and the service is easily five-star… I laugh at some of the comments…. if you want little slippers and matching housecoat, look like a prince and princess, then go to Palace… the meals were suburban with the first class chef from Brazil… when I came to the restaurant bar you couldn’t want more for service and quality…. awesome place for...

「恐ろしく高評価で高価格の２つ星個人経営ホテルはリスキーだ。 わざと２人で予約したのに、あてがわれたのはスーツケースを広げられないほど狭いダブルの部屋。16㎡との表示だったが、どうみても10㎡しかない。日本の東横インみたいだ。（東横インの５割増し価格だけど） 翌日泊ったPousada de Viseuは、ここよりも安いのに部屋は倍の広さだったので、割高なんていうものではない。ぼったくりだ！ タンスやクローゼットも無く、ゴミ箱も無い。バスルームのアメニティはシャワーキャップ１つだけ、シャワールームはシャンプー兼用のポンプ式ソープ１つだけと２つ星らしい設備の貧弱さだ。 朝食は２つ星にしてはまずまずだが、フレッシュオレンジジュースを水で薄めてあったのに加えて、一般的に高価な食材が無い。宿代は近くの４つ星ホテルと同じなのに、質を落として誤魔化しているわけだ。 この姿勢が、このホテルの運営姿勢をよく表している。 ひとつ重要な情報だが、部屋に蟻除けの薬が置いてあった。 それでも、ベッドの上に蟻が徘徊していたので、虫がダメな人は絶対に避けた方が良いだろう。 」

「オープンしたばかりの新しいホテルで何もかもがきれいでスタイリッシュ。 本当に快適でした。 そして何よりも部屋の窓からの眺めが素晴らしく、部屋に居ながらにして雄大な自然を満喫できました。 スタッフの方も大変親切で、1泊しかできなかったのがとても残念でした。」
