「We had a great time in Melfort!. We love it, comfortable, clean, spacious, great option to stay with kids. There is a playground and swimming pool. As reception has specific hours open, they take care to send us a mail explaining how to access to our house if it was close. Beautiful the road to go to Melfort, one of the best ones in Scotland. . 」

「One night stop over - staff were friendly and helpful. Hotel has lots of character with main areas and rooms. Rooms and bathroom were a great size and with everything you need in. View out on to the harbour and little area outside were really lovely. Lovely walk down the promenade to the centre 」

「Last minute booking at the end of a 6 day break travelling the west of Scotland. A very beautiful and unique hotel in a fantastic location, quiet and overlooking the water, but only 10 mins drive to Oban centre. Fantastic help on arrival by the reception and senior staff/manager to arrange a room with a bath and also late dining as we had been delayed getting there. 「Iain and his family have a beautiful property just outside of Oban. We enjoyed exploring Oban, but really enjoyed hanging out on the property in the sunshine. The cottage was perfect for our family. 」

「Such a disappointment, the room was small and old fashioned. Very little space for two people, and damp in the atmosphere. Towels never dried and had to shower and air dry as gettibg dried with a cold damp towel was no fun. Check in security was pior, anyon can just walk in and pick up keys to a room , no staff around and when you rang the numbers for contact there was no answer from all three!」
