"The hotel coukdn't have been better. Although small (typical for Singapore), the room was extremely well organized, clean and comfortable. The front desk staff was outstanding. They even refunded me for the 1st night of my reservation, which I missed due to delayed flights and a missed connection. I call it classy! The hotel is also well located, next to China town and about a mile from the Gardens by the Bay. I highly recommend the Mercure ICON City Center for your stay in Singapore. "

"The breakfast menu was fresh and plentiful. The pool looked enjoyable. Front desk staff was attentive and helpful, especially Seri who gave extra effort regarding transportation to the airport before the 0800 first shuttle. For those of us whose scheduled flight was early, the 0800 shuttle would not get us to the airport in time."

"Staff as the greatest asset. Polite, friendly and helpful. Good location and nice pool deck on roof, though it could do with a bit of TLC. Rooms were clean and comfortable. Just need better facilities in room such as a Nespresso machine or similar - would expect in hotel of this class/price. "
