「こちらに4泊しました。到着した日スタッフが暖かく歓迎してくれ、部屋からビーチも見え、すごいいい部屋でした。部屋は掃除が行き届いており新しく広さも2人で泊まるには十分な広さです。朝食も軽食でしたがよかったです。」

「宿泊施設の性格上、長期滞在者が多いようで、特にドイツ語圏の方が多かったです。レストランで朝食を摂っていると「ここはドイツか？」と思うくらいドイツ語が耳に入ってきました。レストランで受付兼ウェイトレスをされているおばちゃんが「カリメーラ（おはよう）」とにこやかに挨拶してくださるのが非常に心地よかったです。クレタ島を後にする朝には「今日は最終日ね」と英語で寂しそうに声をかけて下さったときには、こちらも少し寂しく感じました。本当に朝食の時にしか会わなかったのですが・・・。ホテルのロケーションも繁華街（？）から少し離れていて静かでよかったです。海水浴シーズンからは少しずれていたので遊泳はしませんでしたが、海水浴場も目と鼻の先なので海水浴シーズンに訪れるとにぎやかなのもしれません。」

Property was spotless and room was of good size. Even though this was boutique hotel of only about 50 rooms, there were still day and evening activities for those who wanted to join in. 「We had a wonderful stay at Maleme Mare, right from the friendly welcome. The staff were friendly and professional and nothing was too much trouble. The hotel was clean and well maintained throughout, including the pool and gardens. No issue with sun-beds either, there are plenty to go round. The food was really great. Plenty of variety at every meal time. Overall we had a super relaxing week and felt we were being taken care of at all times. We will definitely be back」

「The staff was amazing. So helpful! Ana at the front desk and the manager, also Ana, were so nice. They were so helpful in giving us ideas for non-touristy adventures. The food never disappointed. They would sometimes include a theme night, i.e. Mexican, Italian. The food was fresh and the dining area was clean. Our room didn’t have the greatest view, but it was very quiet. We could never hear the people adjacent to or above us. I would definitely stay here again. 」
