Breakfast was very good, the staff is very nice and the property is clean and new. The dinner was not a highlight and I would not get half board again. The food was just not very good and the menu item that we did want, steak, was not available for half board... It's a great place to stay with a beautiful beach and nice pool.

Had a great stay here. The room was nice and the small pool was a great feature. We also used the sauna and hammam which were nice extras to have. The breakfast had a good selection and the dining area had a good view over the pool and beach. Unfortunately on 2 nights there was a lot of machinery noise coming from the driveway down to the basement next to our room. There was also an area in our room where the floor was persistently damp without any obvious cause. Overall we really enjoyed our stay though and the team were all really helpful.

Absolutely amazing area, great beach and very friendly staff. Area felt safe and access to the nearby town of chania was easy. I loved the swim up pool and the temperature was good. Air conditioning was good also. negative things i would say their was no privacy between the swim up and the public footpath. We woke up some upset neighbours one evening accidentally so the walls may not have been very sound proof although we did not hear anybody ourselves.

Stayed in the swim up deluxe. The room was sparkling clean, and the pool was too. The hotel is beachfront and offers sunbeds, which made our vacay feel even more like a proper vacay. Just an amazing hotel overall, honestly can’t think of any bad sides. Pre check-in, during, and post check-in service were all second to none. Every staff member I met was amazing, they genuinely cared about us right up until we left, always making sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. I’ll definitely stay here again if I visit Chania.

We had a wonderful stay at Elia Resort! It was my partner and I’s 5-year anniversary, and the Elia team truly made it one of our best holidays yet. On our first night, we arrived late but were greeted with a complimentary bottle of wine, a refreshing watermelon salad, and a beautifully decorated room to celebrate the occasion. The hotel itself was stunning, right on the beachfront. Our room included a swim-up pool, which made the experience even more special. The staff were incredibly friendly and always went above and beyond - whether it was scheduling trips for us or helping with restaurant recommendations. They even allowed us one hour of free extra late check out since our flight was not till 6pm. Thank you to lovely Elia team!!

My friend and I loved the location of the hotel . Although not in the city centre , it was still very easy to get into centre on public transport within 20 minutes .The property overlooks the sea . The room sizes were quite spacious .The personalised room facilities such as a pool or a hot tub was a very nice touch. I will be returning to the hotel in future.

The feature attracted us to this resort was its ensuite private dipping pool. It's a definite plus. Another feature was the terrace restaurant. It offered a great view of the beach below and spectacular sunset. We enjoyed our breakfasts and dinners there. Parking lot had ample space. Staff were friendly. There're many restaurants and stores nearby. It's a great location for enjoying Chania.

Can’t figure out what they could do better, staff is responsive, reliable and professional. This Resort is really good. Only downside is the sunbeds at the beach (the best spot on the beach), could need an upgrade to match the rest of the facilities. Will recommend this hotel/resort!

Fantastic hotel in a great location right on the beach. The beach was uncrowded and the provided chairs were comfortable. The hotel is extremely clean with a modern look and updated in its style and amenities. We took a deluxe swim-up and it was well worth it. The pool is yours alone, divided from the room's next to it, though you can still see your neighbours when they're in it. Doesn't matter a bit; just being detailed. We loved having it to refresh in the late afternoon and before bed. If you find the button on the edge towards your room, it activates jets! The shower was fantastic, with a rainfall head with good pressure, powerful hand shower, and wall mounted full body spray. There's also a sauna in it. It looks like a stool in the shower but if you spray water into the hole and activate the sauna on the wall panel, you'll get steamed up fast! The staff was incredibly friendly and helpful, with the bubbly, friendly energy of the woman server particularly standing out! I'm sorry I forgot your name! The breakfast buffet was solid with a lot of choices and we always left happy and full. The lunch we had was also tasty! If you're looking for a hotel with an active bar, this is one area where it lacks, but there are so many bars nearby, why would you stay at the hotel? I confidently recommend this hotel and would visit again if we came back to Crete! We had a fantastic stay and you will too! Thank you Elia Agia Marina!

Pleasant stay but not Wow!!

We had a nice time at Agia Marina resort and it was a great location for visiting Chania town. The staff were lovely and helpful. Our room was tastefully designed but really small and had very limited space to hang our clothes (no drawers) so we had to live out of our suitcases which was very inconvenient, however the hot tub was HUGE (room 209b) which was most welcome after a day of sightseeing! The sun beds on the beach are free but it would it have been nice if they had been of better quality (nice big cushion ones), and even though the pool is small, a few more beds on the grass area would have been great. Overall a nice hotel to stay at but it didn’t “Wow” us.

The resort has a great beach and is smack in the heart if Agia Marina. It is about 35 mins to downtown Chania and close to many villages for excursions and dining. It has a big parking area, an on site restaurant that serves good breakfast, lunch and dinner. The rooms are rather small and best for couples only (at least the one we had). There are no drawers so we spent 10 days digging out of our suitcases which was not fun. The bathroom is also small but functional. AC has an annoying light during the night so bring a mask if you are sensitive. It is quiet, clean, free beach chairs and lovely waters when the wind is not blowing. Great view from their patio.
