"excellent location"

"Location excellent with the train station just across the street."

"Overall great hotel. We enjoyed it. The only con for us (but that is personal preference) although firm the pillows were too flat. Would recommend 10/10"

"Great area"

"I have stayed at this hotel several times and the staff is always friendly and the rooms are clean. I like the area and train station is pretty close with lots of restaurants and shopping in the area"

"Very clean and beautiful hotel."

"Very good location across the street from Ikebukuro Station. Very convenient to have a 7-11 accessible without having to leave the building as we were there during Typhoon Dujuan and we could get food without getting wet!! Would stay there again!!"

"This place was great. Normally I stay at a major chain hotel in Shinjuku but I think I will be staying here from now on. The floor-to-ceiling windows let in so much light and the space is open and feels really airy. The powered window shades are also great when you want to sleep in too. "Unfussy hotel, decent food, beautiful views. Lovely onsen, although the property was obviously aged and certain parts had peeling paint. Overall a great stay for the price. "

"Absolutely wonderful staff, clean, and Convenient to nearby train station "

"Good service. Delicious dining. Pleasant stay. Value for money."

"Everything about Kizen Villa was magnificent. The hosts were so friendly and interesting. They love meeting people from all over the world and they do everything possible to ensure an enjoyable and pleasant stay. We had more space than we could have ever hoped for staying in Japan. The beds were extremely comfortable and the washer/dryer was very useful as well as the kitchen. I am so happy we stayed here."

"バスタオルを通常の倍お貸しいただき大変助かりましたが、身体を拭いてタオルが湿ると雑巾臭がして残念な気持ちになりました。 一階のお部屋に連泊させて頂いたのですが、お手入れの行き届いたお庭に夜、姫蛍の雄が4〜5匹いましたよ。蛍には少し早い時期で諦めていたのですが、初めてみる珍しい姫蛍に感動しちゃいました。"
