"There are so many things I can rave about when it comes to this hotel. The staff were so kind and made it so easy to do anything at this hotel. Breakfast was delicious and had a lot of options and everything was marked for allergens or food preferences. Everything was super clean and well maintained. It was a very comfortable place to stay. My favorite part about this property was the view. It is near a park and a stadium and has the most amazing view of Tokyo. I also really enjoyed how close it was to a train station and it was pretty much walking distance to Shinjuku and Harajuku."

"Getting to the hotel by the limousine bus was easy because it’s on the bus drop off route. The check in was quick. There were so many people in the lobby checking in, so it felt overwhelming after a long journey. The room was small but that’s expected in most Japanese hotels. The bed wasn’t comfortable for me, the mattress wasn’t thick enough. We didn’t choose breakfast as it was rather expensive, but there’s a 711 on the basement level that had very good choices for food, snacks etc. The hotel is within 7-8 minutes of covered walking to the busy Shinjuku station, so it’s convenient to everything."

Hotel Sunroute Plaza Shinjuku

"This hotel was a 7min walk feom the shinjuku station. It seems like a good area with the except of the first night where there was a sketchy guy hanging out by the street vending machines. We didn't have breakfast or dinner at the hotel as there were many authentic places to walk to in the area. At check-in and check-out you will need to complete this on your own but there is an agent who is there to help. However i did find that they were very impatience and trying to rush you at check-in. Not the best experience, if you want me to do the check-in myself then let your customer do it on their own unless they ask for your assistance or at least let them pull up all the information that is required before rushing them. Beware that this hotel does not have a safe in your room. Throughout our trip in Japan we kept our passports on us. Your luggage can slide right under the bed. For heading back to the Narita airport we paid for the hotel transport. This was miss leading on the site as it came across that the hotel had a free transportation to and from the airport but this was actually a separate company that runs the transportation. For toiletries, you need to go to lobby right infront of the elevators and select what you want. This was very convenient. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone with just knowing what to expect at the hotel with no safe, and sometimes at night by the vending machines you sometimes could experience weirods around the street."

"Just terrific in every way. Staff was great, room was all we needed. Great shower with lots of pressure and we loved being beside the park. Get the breakfast! Very glad we picked this place. Will definitely stay here again."

Apa Hotel Higashi Shinjuku Kabukicho Tower

"This is a business hotel, so certain amenities, like on-site gym and spa are not available. It is centrally located, clean and comfortable, so it satisfied my needs for this trip. Room and bathroom are small but this is to be expected, however, it’s still a very comfortable base in Shinjuku. Lovely staff and delicious breakfast selections. Just note that there are a number of Apa hotels within blocks of each other so, just be mindful of that when you arrive to make check in easier."
