「Easily the best accommodation of a four-day stay in Northumberland. Everything in the Whittling House makes your trip a little bit better, from lovely staff to beautiful decor, homemade shortbread for the rooms to the comfy armchairs in the bar. Definitely worth the more premium price!」

「Room ( i was in No 2 ) was in good decorative order . However there was a Green light permanently on all night by the door that could not be covered / turned off . Additionally when the Water Tank in the bathroom decided to replenish ( quite randomly - not after use ) it sounded like a Helicopter taking off . Very loud , and not conducive to a good nights sleep . 」

「The couple who run this establishment are genuinely two of the nicest people you could wish to meet. We stayed in the Tack Room -which has self catering facilities if you wish to use them. However there is no need as a pre-ordered breakfast is delivered to your room each morning. There is a huge variety of choices the fresh fruit salad and yoghourt was great and also the full English.
