「We’ve stayed at many places on Grace Bay, and we love walking to the town and restaurants. We knew Royal was a little further than we are used to, but thought we’d give it a go. It is definitely walkable and not bad to anything in town, but maybe just a little too far for our liking. About 20 min walk to the grocery store and 25 to our furthest fav walking spots. 「Worst hospitality I've experienced. Location is great. facility is nice and modern. However we think staff's hospitality couldn't be worse. They don't intend to care of the guest AT ALL. When we checked-in, no one was at the reception. We found a staff in the office and ask her to check-in, but she said she felt cold and seemed not to want to spend the time to explain about the hotel at the reception outside. She explained very quickly how to open our room's door, but nothing else about...

「I liked the property. I wish they'd make eating accommodations for guest arriving between 4-6pm. Also guest services personnel could use some training on being more helpful when asked questions they dont know how to answer. Other than that it was a good trip.」

「Liked that it was away from other busy hotels, which we intentionally wanted, but did require a 30 minute walk or a taxi ride at $6-$20 per person, depending on time of day/night to get to busier area with restaurants and casino. 」

「The reason we took off a star is because at night there is a loud noise from a nearby club that could last to 3am. But other than being pricey the place is incredible. The beach has enough seats for everyone. The water is perfect. There is fish in the water in the evening if there aren't many ppl in the water. I suggest you ask the front desk for booking extensions on ur first day as activities get booked up quick. Lovely place I recommend 」
