"ive stayed here many times because its a very good price for central istanbul- it is quite basic but it has character, it is in the tarlabasi a very old district of istanbul, a bit ramshackle- which i like, but safe,. there are friendly reception staff, close to istiklal caddesi with its many restaurants and shops. its on a very steep street so not great for people with mobility problems, it is also close to the famous sunday market, comfortable bed, i slept well"

"Everyone at the front desk was so friendly and helpful. There is an afternoon piano player and small snacks and drinks. It was such a nice personal touch. My only complaint would be that my water for shower was cold or hot and it was difficult to control temperature. "

"This is a nice place to stay but my room 302 was on top of two night clubs with different music tastes. Clubs run until 4am so if you go to club best choice but if not then is terrible choice."

"It is what it is. For the price, I think it’s like a local old apartment in a bit of disrepair. However, the bonus is that the property is close by everything and walking distance to metro. The staff at the hotel are amazing and very nice. They were good with English and very helpful! So that was a bonus as well. "

"We got off to a rough start with tv that does not work as well as a water leakage but it turned out well in the end. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was cleaned regularly and fresh towels provide. Room on the other is not what it looks like in the picture. It could do with a makeover. Area around hotel is noisy in the early hours of the morning."
