"I liked that this property was a short walk from the Himeji train station. If you wanted to buy groceries, the nearest stores were a good 15-20 minute walk away, but there were convenience stores nearby if needed. Lots of restaurants in the station area itself. The biggest negative that would be for this location is if you are a light sleeper, the train noise was very loud. Especially when the express shinkansen roared through Himeji station. Himeji Station Universal Hotel South Exit

"Very nice hotel, close to the train station. Quiet in the rooms. The afternoon/night parking attendant very helpful giving suggestion sightseeing in the area. The beds were a little hard for me. Walking distance from Himeji castle. Other than that, the location was easy access to everything."

A real Japanese contemporary hotel

"It's a super clean hotel, really gorgeous interior. The staff is so polite and so very helpful! They made sure the Takyubin would take our luggage to Kyoto on time for the next day, was so helpful to us! They were great! It's a shame the room and bathroom are so small, but it's a Japanese hotel, so that's how it is in this kind of hotel. Good price for what you get. "
