"The location and the service were ideal. My third stay there while visiting Vancouver Appreciated the friendly professional service of the driver Wagner and bellman. Aside from lipstick on bath robes, a small tear in the drapes and the small restrooms, everything was great. I would recommend and stay there again. Thanks"

"Great place to stay in Vancouver! Only problem was finding hotel as it does not have any identification outside except a VH on the steps railing. The front desk person saw us wandering around looking for the hotel and came out and lead us to the hotel lobby."

"We were attending a celebration of life at the church next door so the location was very convenient. The room was a little outdated, but there is obviously work going on to update the hotel. The bedding and towels were wonderful and despite being next to a hospital it was very quiet. The staff were all efficient and friendly and breakfast was delicious. We would definitely stay again."

"We love the Sylvia! Accept that it’s an older hotel (100 years ) Location can’t be beat!!! Stanley Park, English Beach, dinning in the neighbourhood, the locals and everything that is walkable! Love it and have for many years always returning to Sylvia"
