「We thoroughly enjoyed our time in Costa Rica , the Riu Guanacaste was very clean, the gardens were gorgeous but the food was not for me. I had a hard time finding something besides fruit and salad that tasted fresh. I am not a huge buffet person and trying to get a table at the restaurants was a lot of work. Besides the food, I would highly recommend the resort . The White party was so much fun too!」

「This hotel is not your typical all inclusive resort. The buffet option was not available every day. They have a menu that you can order from but it gets boring after a couple of days. 「Extremely well located. This is a budget hotel, simple, clean and self checking. The AC worked and the shower water was hot. You will receive the check in information on your cellphone the day off. If you are not used to Tamarindo, the hotel is right next to a mini mall smack in the center of town and just a 5 minute walk to the beach. Everything was functional the only thing is that the breakfast/coffee if there was one, starts at 8AM. A bit late. There is some street noise but nothing major...

Room was meticulously maintained daily during our extended stay. Did not miss on-site dining since highly rated restaurants are right across the street.
