「We stayed at McBee Cottages for only one night. I would have liked to stay longer. It was a good size.The decor was very cute and cottage-y, with beadboard walls and a cozy fireplace. There is one wall with all the kitchen amenities so you could plan to cook some meals. Everything was clean and comfortable. We only realized later how close we were to the beach. It was just a short block to walk there, and Haystack Rock was right there. It was low tide and there were volunteer naturalists there...

「The view & beach access was great , high bank , but stunning view, close to amazing restaurants- comfy bed, & pillows. Loved the fireplace and balcony. Soft warm cookies in the evening, staff recycled plastics for me, breakfast was grab and go, but they had almond milk. The staff were so kind, attentive, & so knowledgeable of the area etc. great weekend for us and our dog💖🐾」

「Just realize ALL ROOMS are non-smoking and pet friendly. I chose a room based on those trying to get a view just to find out those two criteria don’t matter. Paid the extra $40 per night for our dog and were put in a room all the way at the end of the hall on the top floor. Signs all over say dogs are usually only on floors one and two. Not convenient at all and we booked well in advance. 」

「I drove 2 hours and paid a few hundred follars for a room for 2 with a view, balcony, jacuzzi tub and as soon as i walked in with my son to check in i was told kids cant stay in there rooms, they canceled my reservation on the spot and was told sorry expedia is supposed to advertise these rooms are adult only. That was not advertised anywhere. Everywhere i called to reserve a room that day as it was a saturday late afteernoon and a busy weekend at the coast all hotels were booked out. 」
