"We stayed at Hotel der Bar for 4 nights for a wedding. The hotel staff were very helpful and the hotel was very clean and comfortable. We had friends at different hotels in Ellmau but ours was the nicest of the bunch. We would definitely come back and stay here and would recommend it. We stayed in the junior suite with panoramic views. We would recommend spending a little more for this view....which is spectacular!"

"Our stay was perfect. Room 110, a three-person room at the back, is new, with a superb mountain view from the bathroom. The owner is very warm and welcoming. Breakfast was adequate and sufficient for us. The Wi-Fi is not adequate at the back of the building, and the owner provided a box that worked very well. The restaurant portions are generous and the food is good. I would suggest providing "unsweetened" and low-fat options at breakfast for people who don't eat sugar or too much fat, like low...

"Lovely apartment bang on in centre of town with beautiful views over the mountains. But unfortunately very noisy when we were there due to a local street party. Very apologetic staff. Comfortable beds but could have wished for a summer duvet. "

"Bei unserem Zimmer war die Toilette nur durch eine Glaswand getrennt. Diese ist sehr gut vom Bett aus einzusehen. Außerdem war die Wassertemperatur beim Duschen recht dürftig. Wenn man das Wasser ganz warm stellt, läuft das Wasser mit wenig Druck. Die Vorlauftemperatur ist viel zu niedrig. Hier wird am Komfort des Kunden gespart."

"A nice comfortable studio apartment a short walk from the centre of Kitzbuehel. The bed was slightly firmer that we would have chosen, some noise at night from nearby bar but otherwise a very good choice."
