"I had been in Zadar before and liked the location of my previous stay. I thought the Mediteran was a lot further away from the center. When I went looking for bus stops, I discovered it was about 200 feet away from where I stayed last time I was there. It's about an hour walk to the old city, but bus service is generally on the half hour (hourly on weekends), so plan accordingly. The hotel and staff were just generally excellent!"

"I will definitely be returning to this hotel, it is marked as a 3 star, but honestly you will feel as though you’re in a 4 star hotel. Amazing facilities, staff are amazing (I cannot fault anyone, so thank you all - especially the 2 gents in the evenings, they were super helpful and friendly, I sadly didn’t get their names but they were working on Tues&Wed night this week). "The location of the hotel is excellent just steps from the beach in Lapad. The staff at the front desk were all very helpful and knowledgeable. On September 22, 2023, which was our first night, the front desk clerk, for which we can’t remember her name, was exceptional and went out of her way to help us. It was her last day and last hour working as she was going back to university. She helped us get an Uber ride to take us to the marina. She was truly lovely and kind up to the last minute she...

"Great location, 5 to 10 minutes stroll to the beach. Ten minutes in an Uber to the old town. Lots of restaurants and bars nearby. Very clean, nicely decorated, with very good staff service. Ana, the receptionist was very helpful and efficient."

"The Hotel Splendid is in a very nice area in Lapad. The grounds are very well maintained and have beautiful views of the bay. The bus stop to Dubrovnik old town is just across the street and bus #4 runs every 15/20 minutes. The breakfast was plentiful. The room we stayed on the first floor was very small. It is a quick walk from the Promenade with several restaurants to choose from.When we come back to Dubrovnik we most likely will stay there again. We might pick a better room option. "

Bar next to us can be load until 2 pm but close the windows and you should be fine. Only 2 min walking from the BEST night club The Revelin” in a castle insane and gorgeous! Warning stairs can be intense. "
