「We had an awful stay at Captain Quarters. Upon arrival, our room was not clean and there was sand in the bedding. The building is run down and not at all sound proof- we could hear every person that passed through the stairwell next to our room all day and night. The plumbing made a hissing sound throughout the building, and we heard it repeatedly as people showered. The worst part of our stay though was the heat. During our three day stay, our room never cooled down - even with the thermostat...

「DONT DO IT! Not sure how this place is getting such good reviews. To start, the pool pictures are catfish pics at best. Much much smaller than it looks online. Water was murky and the pool is tiny. The pics make it look resort style and are very misleading. And i picked this property because of the pool, or at least how it was depicted online. The rooms are funky. The bathtub we had was used and not clean, had sand in it from previous guests. Yuck. The ceiling fan was caked in dust, very yuck....

「Love the rooms. Great place to stay with family. Love the 2 pools. So close to the beach and Port A Pizza! The only problem we had was the Wi-Fi. The TV wouldn’t work,phones or tablets for the kids to use at night after a long day at the beach. I get it that the Wi-Fi is spotty on the island. But,everywhere else we were we had Wi-Fi.
