"Glebe Cottage was a lovely place to stay. The location was superb with views out to sea from the cottage and hot tub. The cottage was well appointed and very clean. I read other people’s reviews so brought some scissors. Bonus of having electric car chargers right outside the cottage. It’s really thoughtful of the owners to mow the edges of the fields so you can easily walk to the coast or to Embleton village without going on the road. "Great stay Good location"

"Lovely, beautiful little old fashioned lodge for self-catering tucked away behind thick gardens abutted to a lovely old building on the outskirts of Alnwick. Its self-catering and had everything we needed, including good TV choice for the evenings and a strong wi-fi (in the lounge but not in kitchen). We just felt so at ease and relaxed in the evenings there. It may not be for everybody, say for example, those that like things to look modern. But for us with an eye to more homely back-in-the-day...

"Loved everything about Alnwick and The majestic purple. Immediately felt at home upon arrival. Great communication from host. Lovely property in the ideal location for exploring Alnwick. Kids loved it and didn't want to leave. Will definitely be back and would definitely recommend. Thank you."

"Quirky property, despite unlevel floors and some low ceilings was spacious. Would have been nice to have more than 1 loo role for a few nights with a family. Great location and plenty of room for hide and seek!"
