"While the house is large and secluded for those who want a peaceful location, the condition is worn out with threadbare rugs and a hodgepodge of old furniture, uncomfortable seating options and old appliances. Some areas of the kitchen were dirty as was the outdoor deck and furniture. The views were substantially different from the photos as trees/shrubs are overgrown and blocked it from both levels. "The hostess, Angela, was very nice and the space was neat and quiet. HOWEVER, the online description from Expedia stated that this is a bed and breakfast. In fact it is a room in their home with a bath that is shared with another guest. This would have been OK had I known that when I booked, but I didn't. Overall, great location and safe space, but not at all what I was expecting. "

"Easy check-in. House is comfortably furnished - excellent kitchen supplies. Updated kitchen and bath including appliances. Very comfortable beds and wonderful outdoor deck including sun umbrella. Extremely clean. Close to Great Barrington with easy access to surrounding area. Circular driveway so need to back out into road. Just was very accommodating and responsive. Very good WiFi"

"The house was very spacious, beautifully designed, and aesthetically pleasing. The location was perfect. It was great for my family, accommodating three generations comfortably. However, the toilet amenities like bath tissue, shampoo, and body wash were of very cheap brands. The jet bathtub didn't drain, and although I asked the host to fix it, it took a couple of days to resolve. The house was generally very clean, but there were hairs and other debris in drawers that were not immediately...
