「Self check-in and out makes the service a little impersonal, but I get the gist behind it. The property itself is fairly new and clean. There is a need for more parking. Surrounding neighbourhood leaves a lot to be desired, but that is not the fault of the business. We did not necessarily feel unsafe and they do have 24 hour security on the premises. I would probably stay there again.」

「I really loved staying at this property. It felt like home away from home. It was very peaceful, staff were super friendly and caring and breakfast and dinner was good. One thing that will stick with me was the treatment I received. Staff always checked if I had a pleasant stay and how my day was going or if I needed anything. 「We felt so relaxed and had the opportunity to rest exceptionally before our flight, after being 8 days in Placencia. The BnB on Triggerfish is soooo comfortable. Everything was impeccable and it is located right behind the airport. The breakfast was great and big enough to start our journey back home. We highly recommend it.」

「Our short one night stay was excellent! Michelle is a SUPER HOST!! She had great communication and went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The space is nicely decorated, clean and well supplied. Easy walking distance to a number of restaurants and the waterfront. Highly recommend for a quick stay or several nights! 」

「Main problem was ongoing construction of two new cottages only a few feet from the single existing cottage. Savy lodge owners care about client comfort and do not rent when renovating. Lighting along boardwalk poor and I tripped over a fresh 3 ft tall gravel mound ( construction) walking to our car in the dark. The manager did not show us the cottage upon our arrival as all other 13 places we stayed in Belize did.」

「Howler Monkey was an interesting little place. Family run and in a fairly remote location so we saw enormous, 5 ft. orange iguanas along the river (take binoculars to see them better) and heard the howlers in the area. However, the place could use some work - cleaning, painting, general maintenance, etc. And it is not a 'resort' by most American's description. Our particular cabin was fine but also needed a little TLC. It was 2 doubles with a bathroom door that hit the one bed. And we had a...

「I arrived early in the day, and Colin was very responsive and understanding of my situation allowing me to have a room immediately. The room was comfortable and clean. Later in the day, Colin came by to check if I needed anything. Since the nearby restaurants were closed, he personally made the drive to pick up food and deliver it to us. The next day, he even gave us a ride to the airport. His personalized attention meant a lot to me. Thank you to Colin and to the Bomboleo Inn! 」
