"It is impossible to recommend this hotel and I will not be staying here on future trips. My first hint was when the hotel was not listed on rhe grab transport app, so I found myself standing on the side of the road at the bus stop at 11.30pm trying to work out how to find the place ... turns out their listing on wotif is different to the name of the actual hotel. I eventually arrived and was dropped off in a dingy back alley, picked my way past the street dogs, and managed to check in. Shown...

"Für mich waren 2 Nächte am Sunset Beach völlig ausreichend, dort hat man das echte "Jungle Feeling", abseits von Parties und Chaos. Leider hatte ich Pech mit dem Wetter, es gab Regen und der Wind war stark, sodass es keinen Sonnenuntergang gab, und Snorkelling war leider auch nicht möglich. "My room was perfect, I liked the desk, balcony and bathroom. The wifi did not work whatsoever and that was extremely annoying. There was a TV with no remote. The area around the hotel was quite eery, even during the daytime. It was a really built-up area, but there were barely any people around and I felt quite unsafe. It felt like there was no soul or life to the place. The hotel was okay though. "

"The accommodation was at the far end of the beach in a quiet location. A beach taxi was available for you and your luggage. There was a decent food menu available and all staff were pleasant. Overall a pleasant stay with a nice sandy beach and walking distance to several others. Plenty of eating choices along the beach including an excellent barbecue."

"We enjoyed our stay in this hotel it was clean, kid friendly, spacious,modern & friendly cleaning crew. We had a toddler with us and it was very comfortable , we enjoyed the pool that was included and the beach was right across the hotel so it made it very convenient. Definitely recommend "

"Property not clean but staff friendly. Location OK, 5 minute walk from a beach. Would not recommend Sihanoukville as a place to visit. Big city, very Chinese. Unfinished buildings everywhere. Road from Koh Kong is horrendous. 5.5 hour trip of which 3.5-4 hours is on dirt/gravel"
