"Loved the room. Very spacious, nice, and clean. The shower alone was amazing and deserves 5 stars on its own. The staff was very accomodating to my plant-based breakfast request and made sure I had enough food. Our room safe battery died right before our check out and the staff resved the issue in a very professional and fast manner. The area is great too. Would stay here again. "

Very nice hotel with excellent location!

"Very nice hotel, everyone was friendly and always ready to help out if needed. Our room was nice, confortable and clean. Everything was great except for the food at breakfast that was not warm enough. Other than that, all was good! We loved the Magma that overlooks the Douro River. Perfect location near bars, restaurants and many port caves."

"This hotel is very close to the airport. As a solo female traveller I walked to the airport by myself at 4:30 am in the morning. It was very safe and busy. I did not feel uneasy as all. The staff were friendly, helpful and courteous. The room and bathroom were both very clean. The bed and mattress were very comfortable. I would definitely stay there again."

"This hotel is beautiful inside, very clean, and with a great location. We walked to all tourist attractions during our two days stay, and there were multiple good restaurants within walking distance too. Inside the hotel there are water bottle refill stations available. Also, coffee and snacks vending machines in the main lobby near the elevators. It was also very easy to request an Uber to the airport from the hotel. We will definitely recommend this hotel to anyone."
