"This was our favorite part of a 2 week Japan trip. While the onsen’s were great, and amenities were fantastic, my favorite was the location and wilderness. Very remote, with lots and long “2 way road but 1car space” roads before you make it to the hotel which has parking for about 10 guest cars. 10/10!"

"It was the best hotel I've ever stayed in. Despite being a single traveller, all services were impeccable, especially the breakfast and dinner service which is second to none. I was served the best meals during my 5 day stay. The hot springs were also very satisfying and I would definitely return."

"床に髪の毛が落ちていて、とても自分たちのものとは思えなかったです。ただ部屋の広さや静かさ、大浴場(きれいさも含めて)には大満足。スタッフさんの対応もスマートながら丁寧さに欠けることなく感じが良かったです。部屋の洗面台が欠けていたり、トイレが狭かったり、水の流れが悪かったのは残念でした。"

The lobby is dirty, the sofas are stained, you cannot sit on them. In the rooms the curtains are stained, torn, no blinds. The condition of every furniture is bad, needs fixing or get new. The food is served in a old people home dyining room. Looks like the fifties, or a senatorium in the former USSR. The food...

"埃などは落ちてないので清潔ではあるが、何せ建物や備品が古いままな為、カーテンや扉の紙の日焼けやシミがそのまま残ってしまっているのが残念。 昭和世代はまだ耐えられるが、それ以降の人達には厳しいかもしれません。お湯がなかなか出てこないのも大変。それだけ今の世の中が便利で楽になったという事を感じれます笑 部屋及び風呂からの眺めも窓を変えるだけでもかなり変わるはずですが、経営上なかなか難しいんでしょうね。 それでも旅館の方達は高齢ですが、親切で良い方ばかりです。"
