"The economy cabin was a good step up from a capsule arrangement; not a bad option for a short stay. I would consider staying in it again. It would be nice if the lock box beside the bed was able to be locked though."

"9.5/10 - perfect place that is outside of the city's hustle and bustle but close to one of the oldest temples in Japan. You can easily access the train and Nakamise - dori street. I did the shared room but they have private room options. Linens were white and very clean spaces. "

"I really enjoyed my stay here! the room was simple, a bed and a desk. It also had somewhere to hang a couple jackets. It was perfect for what I wanted/needed. It was walkable to subway stations and shopping. The community was quiet as well. I walked back late at night solo and never felt unsafe. I loved the social room downstairs, and that it had a washer/dryer. I would stay here again in a heartbeat. "

"First off, staff were very friendly and helpful. The location was ideal and close to essential tourist subways. Excellent coffee served there. Only two negatives was, checks ins could be anytime of the day or night. Which really left me exhausted the night before leaving japan and on other days. . And a problem I noted in a previous hostel, pillows can't be washed so previous sweat stains evident from previous guests, when you sweat, the smell is released. So sorry as the place was great. "

"The bathroom stinks really bad! It looks kind of clean but the smell is just unacceptable. When i checked in they there was a mug with mold in my capsule! If you are planing on saving some money and eating at the hostel don't count on it. There is no kettle nor microwave to make your food warm. "

"Went in May. Bunk was warm but not unbearable, although had no need for the quilt. I found the mattress quite comfortable, and although the compartment was small I was able to move around inside comfortably. Noise does travel easily between adjacent compartments for those easily disturbed. I fear that on one heavy-drinking night I may have been the snoring disturbance, so bear this in mind. "I stayed here for a week in February and I would likely stay here again - just knowing that the breakfast that is supposed to be included is a stack of Starbucks cards, $1,000 yen for each night you're staying. The shared dorm featured guests of all ages, not just the college/party aged crowd, and there was a mix of foreign tourists as well as locals in the 6-bunk landing where my top bunk was. Laundry worked well - make sure to bring your own detergent, there is none available in the laundry...

"I highly recommend staying here if you want to enjoy a convenient stay. The station is right around the corner, many nice food places around. The staff are responsive. It is a bit small but the beds are big and perfect for tall people. My partner is almost 1.90 cm and was shocked how well he fit in the bunk bed. Facilities were always clean despite being shared. Loved it! Thank you."

"We had a great stay here for 9 full days. It was our first time in Japan and this place was nice. The rooms were cleaned daily for us. They have a laundry room, gym, and very nice lobby area. The location is about a 15-20 minute walk from JR station. My suggestion is to get on the bus in front of the hotel to get to all the shopping areas. After all the walking you're going to do, trust me, take she bus even if it's for a few blocks. I would stay here again. "
