An upgraded hostel with contemporary design
"It’s a very excellent experience to stay in Hostel Homar. Overall design is contemporary. Location is good and very convenient. The only shortfall is eco-cleaning. As we stayed for 3 days, we need to clean our room."
"The Onsen is nice, staffs are nice, though the hostel is old and some facilities are not clean. Inserts are everywhere. The curry rice dinner tastes unexpectedly well. Bus to Blue Pond depends on the limited schedule."

4.3/5 Excellent! (6 reviews)
"Great location and very affordable. A bit small but very charming and welcoming place. The staff is very kind and helpful as well. And Tama the cat is the best! Really enjoyed my stay here and Asahikawa as well as this area of Hokkaido."
"Reasonable price staying in Furano. But the guesthouse is not near JR station, suggest to take lavender bus and get off at hotel naturwald furano and walk around 5mins. If you get off at Kisen, you need to walk upwards around 10mins. There are providing kitchen and washing machine."

"The bed is big enough for me and my wife. The room is clean with any bad smell. The staff are so helpful and polite. The weak points are no any cabinet in the room and the TV speaker is so weak.
We are plan to stay in this hotel on coming sept business trips."

"Rooms are fine, clean enough. We booked non-smoking rooms, they really where non-smoking. Located reasonably close to the Asahikawa station, quite convenient. Staff is polite, but we spoke Japanese with them so not sure of their English proficiency.
1st floor (reception area) smells like a public smoking room, absolutely disgusting. They should ban smoking there and ban smoking inside once and for all."
