「Lovely place for a week-end getaway ! We enjoyed the calm and privacy of the property. Minutes from downtown Newport, but away from the crowd. Lori was very attentive to our needs, and helped book a great restaurant. The only thing I would improve is to get a small microwave for the cottage, warming up food on the stovetop was not the best... Otherwise , great experience , would visit again !」

「Location is convenient but unattractive. Right next to a gas station and on a busy road. The cottage itself is great, but we had to keep all windows closed at all times. 」

「We stayed for a week at Lori's cottage, which sits bordering a bird sanctuary. The cottage is exactly as described, and Lori, our host, went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. She provided suggestions for the local area, greeted us with cut flowers, and was very responsive to any questions. She was the perfect host. 「Parking is a bit tough」

「We loved this house inside and out. We liked how nicely decorated it is throughout and the big comfortable living room. No TV in that room, but we didn't find that to be a bad thing. Plus there's a monster-sized TV in the den. The king bed in the master bedroom was SUPER comfy. Loved the view of the fields out back from the bedrooms and windows by the kitchen table too. Then outside, we loved the table and chairs in the side yard, the quaint little table and chairs for two on the back porch,...

「This property was perfectly located for our holiday weekend stay. There was plenty of room to be comfortable and have good access in the kitchen to do some cooking. It was in close proximity to other family who we could meet up with, and close to the shops, restaurants, and beach.」

「Really cute cottage right by 1st beach. But please note, there’s no AC in the actual house just in the bedrooms and they do not cool the whole house down so we ended up staying in our bedrooms most of the time when home. Also no dishwasher. But they do have a really cute backyard and right near the beach!」

「Great place on Thames St. Cute condo. Spacious room. Well equipped. Nice kitchen and really nice bathroom/shower. Only problem was the guests on the first floor playing music at 2:30am on a Sunday Night. We finally had to call the cops on them. There are clear house rules to be quiet after 10. If all guests conform, it’s a fantastic place to stay.」
