「Great location」

「We were in Newport for a wedding, and Admiral Sims House was a perfect complement to our needs for the trip. Our hosts were extremely accommodating by letting us check in early, and the room was exactly as depicted on the VRBO website. While we did not stay long enough to utilize many of the amenities of the property, it is clear that the hosts have listened to feedback from guests and done their best to make your stay comfortable and easy. Perfect location, we loved the convenience in getting to the wedding venue and enjoying a run along the ocean and Cliff-walk the next day. 「Smack dab centered in the city. Almost 1,900 ft² of accommodation on two floors. Very clean and well kept. Object slightly to the fact that the house rules have added house keeping duties that must occur before checkout. Making customers responsible for making beds, left a question in my mind that for our stay, it was done in a sanitary manner.」

「We very much enjoyed our stay! Location could not be better. We were right in the heart of town, minutes walking to Bowen's and shopping, restaurants, bars. The house is so interesting, with wide-plank floors and pretty beams, and cute outdoor space. Nice size primary bedroom, perfect other bedrooms for our kids, with 2 bedrooms with bath on top floor. 「This place is right in the middle of it all and even has its own parking (big bonus). Common areas are spacious and had all the things you need to feel at home. Listing was exactly as described and the owner was very responsive to all the questions I had leading up to the visit. Use the messaging feature if you have questions. 「Great place on Thames St. Cute condo. Spacious room. Well equipped. Nice kitchen and really nice bathroom/shower. Only problem was the guests on the first floor playing music at 2:30am on a Sunday Night. We finally had to call the cops on them. There are clear house rules to be quiet after 10. If all guests conform, it’s a fantastic place to stay.」
