Very nice hotel right on the beach. The staff was very helpful, even though we don’t speak Italian! Dinner was very good and the breakfast served had a good selection.

Gorgeous sea/beach view. Perfect to see sunrise & moon rise. We loved the patio. Room is very spacious. Furniture are outdated but the patio/view made us not care. Breakfast was good. Staff are very friendly. Door / door knobs are very old and makes creaking noise. Refrigerator was old and not working. Very convenient location to restaurants and shops. (Even grocery store) All walking distance. Beach is private and hardly anyone on the beach. (Off season also) Overall it was great!

Well present from the outside and great staff at reception. Basic clean room. Noise from rooms next door toilet flushing and bathroom very loud and annoying. TV very temperamental accessing channels. Free parking next to the hotel available. Breakfast, very very basic, on par with the basic Ibis one. Restaurant, everything white, felt like a wedding was about to happen. Cook needs to lean the difference between medium well done steaks and rare steaks. Ours were still mooing on the plate.

Hotel Melissa - Calabria

I visited during the off season, when Hotel Melissa was one of the few places to stay in the area. There is very little to do or see in Torre Melissa, but the weather was lovely and warm, the beach is beautiful and completely empty. I had a lovely conversation with the local fishermen who were emptying their catch while repairing their nets on the beach in front of the hotel. The hotel, which has one of the only "upscale" restaurants in the area was packed on a Friday night. The food was delicious and fresh, while the service was great and the servers friendly. The town is only a few minutes drive to nearby Torre Ciro' and about 25 minutes from its mountain top sister, Ciro', both of which are pretty and worth the effort.

Torre Melissa

Torre Melissa är en lugn liten stad. Här behöver man bil.
