South Osaka Ski Vacations

This was a great hotel, excellent staff and excellent amenities. Rooms are reasonably sized for Japan, good air conditioning (essential in late July), hot high pressure shower and OK sized fridge. They have tea, coffee and hot/cold water available most hours, a nice selection of standard and fruit teas. Breakfast is not a big buffet. There are 6 types of Japanese breakfast “sandwiches” from which you can choose 3 each day, plus you get fruit and granola. The usual coffee, tea, juice and others are also there.

Beautiful property with astounding amenities. The experience of putting in Yukata and going for our meals was amazing.

The staff are so nice and very helpful. We have a bigger room and I like it that it has a washer and dryer. And the toilet has its own room separate from the shower room.

The hotel felt big and fancy, but we booked it in part for the pool, which is extra and not always open. There is not much near the hotel, especially considering heat of summer. in the hotel feels a bit too many frills for extra cost vs value. Very expensive restaurants. No AC in hallways & lobby felt hot too. The location while convenient to Kyoto train station is not convenient to much else. So factor in transportation. The staff were friendly. Many outside the front desk don’t speak English so be prepared if you don’t know much Japanese. The breakfast buffet was nice. The top floor restaurant is cool, but it’s a set breakfast. The Teppanyaki was very good, but expensive. It’s a solid three stars, but probably better value hotels in more interesting areas.

Perfect hotel with friendly staff, AC was working fine, breakfast was not included in our booking but we were able to pay on the spot and use it. The hotel has 2 washing machines on the perimeter and 2 dryers, it was very useful (although sometimes there was a line of people waiting, try to avoid late evenings if you want to wash your clothes). The staff helped us to reserve a package, that was send from another hotel. Very accommodative.
