Garden Island Ski Vacations

Good location on Rundle Mall. We were just there for one night & checked in after hours, which was easy enough - you just call a phone number provided in an email. Parking was already validated for us, in the Wilson’s carpark, so that was really helpful. Cute little touches in the room such as hot chocolate sachets & Tim tams! The toiletries provided in the bathroom were really nice too. The bed & pillows were comfy & the room was cosy. It had everything we needed for a night’s stay. If you’re after coffee in the morning, there’s a little coffee kiosk in the Adelaide Arcade. Check out was easy, as the keys were just put back in the lock box. Security deposit was refunded quickly too, most places take ages to refund this, so that was great too.

Easy loading and unloading area, not all city hotels have this. The breakfast was also very good.

The room was spotless and stunning. There is absolutely nothing negative to say. It was a lovely start after a show at the theatre.

The room was clean and spacious with a view to the hills. Although it was raining, the pool and spa were still inviting as they were warmer than the air temperature as we visited at the end of winter. Buffet Breakfast was served in The Promenade restaurant which overlooks beautiful Glenelg beach and the jetty. We also had a delightful high tea with sparkling wine. The Grand is very well located near cafes, restaurants, shops and the tram to Adelaide CBD is just outside the entrance,

Good luck trying to contact staff at reception or room service from your room. I had to resort to calling the external hotel number to get someone to answer my calls and put me through.
