Langham Jakarta is amazing from the moment you step through the door. Elegant setting and decor that are only outshined by the incredibly helpful and knowlegeable staff who never missed an opportunity to make me feel welcome. The facilities in the hotel include a choice of 2 pools (inside and out), a beautiful spa, superior dining choices and a great gym. In addition, the hotel and neighborhood are incredibly safe due to security staff of the hotel and nearby financial district security presence.
I will not hesitate to return to the Langham on any visit to this marvelous city.

We stayed during the soft opening for 7 nights. It was around national holidays too so the hotel was at full capacity.
Things I love: The hotel is clean. I love how tidy and meticulous the housekeeping service is.
Staff are welcoming, helpful and respectful to all guests.
Hotel location is adjacent to a shopping mall.
Things needing improvement: Elevator wait time.
Adding Food warmers at breakfast buffet so food doesn’t get cold, ie at egg and pancake station. Eggs arrived at the table cold.

What is unique about the property is that you're staying inside a living, breathing museum of Asian art! Staff is wonderful, late for breakfast the only day I need to go out early, darn. Western food needs some training but if you stick to the Aaian food, it's good. Rooms are beautiful, needs lighting timers in a few spots. We were walking in the dark.
