Great shuttle ride to the airport!

Best part was the location. It was walkable from key tourist spots as well as from bus stops. We would stay here again only for that reason. Room and property were clean. Staff was pleasant and helpful. Only one little complaint is that the door handles on the closet door were utterly useless. Opening the closet doors was a pain.

Very clean. Comfortable and the breakfast and dinner was delicious 😋! Wonderful stay, wish to stay longer next time!

The room was fine for one night. It was small but it could easily accommodate four people.

I had a junior suite and it was very nice. The service was good. A fowl smell came from the shower drain the last two days and the hallway smelled like there was a sewage problem. (top floor) I reported it and they were very thankful and on it immediately, unknowing. It's a beautiful hotel in a great location. It needs a little facelift for the price, but very nice. Great history. Lovely.

Wonderful stay with attention to organic foods was the greatest highlight for me

The hotel was beautiful. The room was also beautiful. However, we had no turn dorm service or cleaning services done in our room when we were gone. Consider considering the the price of the room, I think that that should have definitely been a priority. We had to ask for clean towels. Also the rooftop bar staff was not that great we waited probably 30-40minutes for a drink and the price for a drink was overpriced

Though the room was on the smaller side (completely understand as we were in NYC), our family of 5 had a comfortable and lovely stay. Pros: So many! Very clean, modern room and bathroom, lots of places to store items in the room to keep the smaller space organized and neat, attentive and friendly staff, well organized and tasty breakfast, great price, very quiet in the rooms, fantastic location. Cons: Only one member of our group could access wi-fi - the rest would have to purchase. We chose to go without. We stayed on the 21st floor which uses a bank of 3 elevators. Rooms on floor 27 and higher use a separate bank of 3 elevators. Accessing the up to floor 26 elevators was very challenging in the morning from 8-10 as one of the elevators is used exclusively to take people to and from the 5th floor for breakfast. Meaning everyone staying on those floors were limited to 2 elevators. It took almost 15 minutes to get an elevator our first morning. We chose to go down 21 flights of stairs each morning after that as it was much quicker and more efficient. Certainly not a deal breaker, and it was good exercise first thing in the morning. For those with mobility issues, I would highly suggest they stay in a room on the 27th floor or higher to ensure easier access to elevators in the morning. Overall: Cannot beat the location. 5-8 minute walk to most of the major Broadway theaters, not to mention hundreds of incredible restaurants.

The location was still good for a Saturday stay with a lower rate b/c subway stations are close by as is Pier 11 to get over to DUMBO quickly. The neighborhood wasn’t a ghost-town even a good bit after midnight. Room was clean and nice.

You check in virtually which is nice for any non-social people, my room was very clean, they are small/ studio size, definitely less than 600sq ft for the 1-bed but very nice and pathetic, very well taken care of by their staff ! However not much parking

The hotel is in an excellent location. At first, I didn't like the idea of paying for valet parking, but in reality, it made our trip a lot easier! The parking process was super convenient. The hotel itself is very quaint and fun. It does need some carpet update, though, which is keeping the musty smell in. One other issue was that people didn't quite abide by the smoking area rules, and for some reason, there were lots of smokers when we visited. We didn't get to use the amenities, sadly, but the pool looked nice and clean! We also didn't get to try the diner, as our schedule kept us out at the times it was open. The menu didn't seem to have a lot of options, but since we didn't get to visit it, I can't say anything about the place, only that it looked nostalgic. The staff was super nice and helpful (and patient with all the questions and requests). Overall, the hotel had exceeded most of our expectations, and we would stay here again when we need to be in LA, especially for an extended stay like the last one.
