The hotel needs a major renovation. Tiredness was seen everywhere. The room was cramped with nowhere to sit other than the bed. There was only 1 very uncomfortable desk chair that has absolutely no cushion. The lighting was pathetic. It was so dark especially in the corridor.

It is purely the location. It is very far out of the way and to travel back and forth between things to do takes about 40 minutes to an hour bus ride. No taxis will pick you up in the area to bring you anywhere, at least this was my experience. The staff were nice and helpful but one staff woman at the breakfast did try to pocket HK$100 from us when we paid for our meal using cash. This was very normal behavior in mainland China but I did not expect it from Hong Kong as well. Just be careful and make sure to count your money and know what people owe you back and count it in front of them.

Wonderful location near HKG airport with free shuttles to airport and to nearby outlet shopping malls.. perfect for overnight layover. Staff are friendly and helpful. The only negative for us is the hotel needs updating… carpets are worn and walls showing chipped wood trimmings.
