Location was very convenient. There is access to several items for excursions which is very convenient. We took advantage of that. I would recommend as a central location by the beautiful river

Beautiful resort with stunning views. The rooms have been renovated but keep in mind the building itself is pretty old, which might be why it’s on the less expensive side of other resorts in Kauai. Regardless, the staff did a great job at cleaning our rooms and helping us anytime we needed something. I even forgot my camera charger in my room after check out and they went and got it from the next guests for me. Overall, had a great experience staying here!

Nice garden and pool areas. Nice bedrooms and bathrooms. Nice kitchen, but missing some essentials. Had trouble picking up pool towels, as they were available only during a limited period during the day, even though the pool was open

I love the Grand Hyatt. Would stay there everytime I go to Kauai.

Choose other resorts. The amenities for this resort are not worth the money. There is only one restaurant and its not open all the time. The beach is 1/2 mile walk. The beach is not just for this property but for many others. Staff is very friendly, but not much they can do about the issues.

The room was very comfortable and spacious with in room laundry. The property was well kept had a nice pool area with pool side bar and the beach was just steps away.
