I will say that the staff was not very helpful on which building you are in or where certain shows will be performed in the hotel. The staffing seemed to be short with barely anyone at the front desk to ask for help when needed. Some of the staff seemed clueless about what was going on in their own hotel.

The rooms are nice (you get what you pay for). The hotel is definitely outdated compared to other rooms. The fridge just barely works, no microwave and there’s no microwave in the hotel that they will let you use. Next time I will spend a bit more money else where.

Joenna was amazing and helped make our stay so special. She was so hospitable and caring to us on our anniversary weekend. Staff members like Joenna are what make Encore / Wynn the best in the game. Great job to all, would highly recommend staying here to all.

Everything was great!!

We arrived late due to plane delays beyond our control. The desk attendant seemed to make us feel great giving us “a nice room with a partial view of the sphere.” We did not book a room with a view not expected one but we did have a free upgrade through booking. When we got to the room, it was a blocked view of the air units and no sphere. Walking all the way back to the desk, we were greeted by another attendant who was not as pleasant and told us the obvious, that we arrived late and so we got the “last room.” We explained then why bother to tell us about an upgrade or a view if we were just being placed in the worst room left on the lowest floor. After a long day of teaching and traveling and looking forward to the vacation, it was a poor start.

It would be nice if there was an in room fridge to put water bottles in. It’s HOT in Vegas!! Having a in room fridge should be standard in hotels.

My wife and I stayed mid-week (Mon-Thu) and overall had a decent stay. Gone are the days of low prices during the week, hotel was expensive but that seems to be the norm in Vegas these days. Room was large, clean, and with a comfy bed. Pool area was great though the temperatures were so hot that week it was not possible to sit in the sun for long. There was competition for the shady spots! Drinks were obscenely expensive, my wife paid $27 for a single mojito. Needless to say we didn’t drink much. Casino was not too busy but there was still a lot of smoke, ventilation could be better. Shout out the concierge staff, we had interactions with a couple of them and they were great and very helpful. This is a stark contract to the person who checked us in, gave us no info and was just generally unfriendly. Overall not a bad experience but I’ll choose a different hotel next time. Not in a rush to come back at these prices though.
