Isla Contoy Pet-friendly Vacations

My wife and I spent a week at GR Solaris Cancun and overall had a good vacation, but that was more because of the time we spent together than because of the resort itself. The highlight of our stay was our oceanfront room with a private plunge pool. We spent most of the week sitting by the pool, enjoying the ocean view, watching beautiful sunsets, relaxing, and catching up on much-needed rest. For someone who normally gets up around 3:00 a.m. for work, this trip gave me the chance to slow down, take naps, and recharge. We also enjoyed exploring the area. Our excursions to Tulum, an ATV adventure, and swimming in a cenote were some of the best parts of the trip. We paid for a deep-tissue massage that was excellent and worth every dollar. As for the resort itself, our experience was mixed. We felt there was a noticeable difference in how members and non-members were treated. Several restaurants, bars, and amenities were either closed or had limited availability during our stay. We understand it was a slower time of year, but it often felt like many of the advertised options weren't fully available. We were invited multiple times to attend a membership presentation. After considering it, we declined. The perks being offered simply weren't enough to justify the commitment for us. We enjoy traveling to different destinations and don't see ourselves returning to the same resort often enough for a membership to make sense. Would we return? Probably not. Air conditioner poor

We stayed at the Wyndham Grand Cancun in October and really enjoyed our stay! The resort was clean and well maintained, and the beds were very comfortable. The food was okay overall, but Pina and Vista were both really good and definitely stood out. The service throughout the resort was excellent. A special shout-out to Jorge at the Paloma Buffet during the evening service. He was absolutely amazing! So welcoming, attentive, and genuinely warm-hearted toward our family. He went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, and his kindness really made our experience that much more special. Thank you to the staff for making our stay so enjoyable. We had a wonderful vacation and would love to return!

We enjoyed our stay. The food and drinks were good, especially breakfast. Pool entertainment and staff were fun! Lots of activities and amenities available. Helpful to download the app for activity times, and to check out the specialty restaurants and their menus.

The food was delicious, and the bartenders were fantastic—not only talented but also friendly and attentive, making every experience even more enjoyable. The beach was absolutely beautiful, providing the perfect setting to relax and enjoy paradise. What truly sets Secrets Maroma apart is its people. Their dedication, hospitality, and genuine desire to make guests happy turn a wonderful vacation into an unforgettable one. We cannot thank the entire team enough for making our stay so special. Secrets Maroma is truly a gem, and we would highly recommend it to anyone looking for an exceptional vacation experience. We look forward to coming back!

Everything is good but be careful for the package sales. It’s not worthy to buy at all.
