Canadian Rockies Pet-friendly Vacations

Love that it was pet friendly! But the beds were super uncomfortable, the toilet ran the entire time, the ceilings in both bathrooms were peeling, carpets were dirty. Considering how much you pay during peak season, I would expect it a bit better maintained. Staff were lovely and grounds are nice.

The staff, from the beginning to the end of our trip, were exceptional. Everyone was incredibly friendly, attentive, and genuinely eager to ensure that all of our needs were met. The hotel is situated in one of the most breathtaking locations imaginable and offers outstanding amenities, including a wonderful spa and beautiful pools. The golf course was impeccably maintained, and the scenery is truly second to none. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to return. While the prices are certainly on the higher side, the overall experience makes it well worth the cost. Another great feature is that the hotel is within walking distance of the town of Banff, with several fantastic hiking trails accessible directly from the property. Lastly, I highly recommend Castello, the hotel's Italian restaurant. The quality of the food was outstanding, and the prices were very reasonable considering the exceptional dining experience.

Very friendly and helpful staff. We appreciated the ‘wine down’ and free bike hire.

This property is special, beautiful views and hospitality is high from the staff, but the individual rooms are pretty run down and years behind on upkeep. You’ll see animals on-property, so there are trades to be made on accommodations, but it’s close to town and busses are easy out front.
