Angel Island Pet-friendly Vacations

The hotel itself was fine, no complaints and no rave review factors. But the front door bellman / host Prince really made the difference for my stay. So welcoming and friendly, knew where everything was, knew who to ask for what at any time of the day, was accommodating even when I arrived at the hotel late just trying to find something to eat. 10s across the board; he’s the reason I’m returning for my next work trip.

Everything met expectations

Great location, very nice and large rooms and washroom space. Daily cleaning service very neat, even tied and straighten up charging cables. Lovely experience

The rooms were clean and perfect for my stay! Would stay at this hotel again!

The hotel staff was so welcoming and took extra care of our two children by bringing surprise cookies and milk to the room, kid size spa robes and slippers and gifts upon checkout. The food at Astra was delicious and the indoor pool was so much fun.

We enjoyed our stay at the Taj very much! It’s a lovely hotel and we would be happy to stay there again. Soraya and others at the front desk were wonderful and they are a big reason for our positive review. However, we were a bit disappointed in the following: morning coffee and water in lobby were empty each day, water dispenser in the gym was also empty. Our keys needed to be rekeyed 3x. Our housekeeper who was generally excellent entered our room once without knocking first. Doorman did not notice our return one evening because he was sitting inside on his phone. Although noticeable we considered these small details which are fixable. The Taj is still a special hotel.

Staff was friendly and welcoming 24/7. I never had to open any door myself in the lobby. I felt safe and it was clean. Location isn’t noisy at all. Probably the best hotel I’ve ever stayed in for an exceptional price.
