Our stay was wonderful! Perfectly situated in the theater district just a black away from the hustle and bustle of Times Square. Perfect location! The staff was so wonderful. Cindy kept our rooms sparkling clean and was so nice and helpful! She was so accommodating and made it feel like we were staying at a 5 star resort the way she treated us.

Daniel, Dexter, Roger were welcoming and provided great information and assistance with questions. Loved the energy in the hotel

Did not meet our expectations compared to the photos of the property online. The room was very small and some areas were not well cleaned or well maintained, particularly in the bathroom. It’s an older building and the walls are very thin. We had planned to stay for four nights but checked out and switched to another hotel after two.

First time visitor to New York City and it was a fantastic time! We got a great deal with Expedia for the Hyatt Regency and I am so glad we chose the Hyatt. The location is perfectly located right in time square and so many other staple places to visit while in NYC like Rockefeller Center, Radio City Hall, Nintendo Store, FAO Schwartz to name a few. Not to mention, we were smacked dab in the middle of the theater district, with Chicago right outside our entrance! We were also a short walks away from Central Park, Carnegie hall, so many museums and more! Back at the hotel, the staff were super friendly and helpful. Rosa greeted us and was so accommodating as only half of our party showed up the day before and was able to get us conjoined room and that really made our trip so memorable. Thank you Rosa! The cleaning staff was so kind and did a great job at getting us extra towels and straightening our rooms when needed. I didn’t catch her name but she was just awesome! The hotel was clean and offered everything you needed. The only thing I would wish they would consider is offering spring bottle water instead of Dasani because they are just horrendous but that’s just a personal preference and the bonus there is that it was complimentary. Needless to say, I would definitely pick this location again on my next visit to New York and you should too!

Amazing location and easily walkable to a whole plethora of activities and attractions. Central Park and 5th Avenue are within strides of leaving the front door. For an exceptional experience, I recommend taking a Park View room so you wake up to Central Park. Front of House team were nothing but exemplary answering any questions and check in / out easy. Luggage storage for also of assistance. Well maintained and clean premises throughout and in own rooms / bathrooms Highly recommend a stay.

Staff was wonderful, helpful, and accommodating.

Amazing staff and attention to detail. Perfect location for a staycation. My dog’s leash broke and Catherine, one of the housekeepers noticed and had a leash ordered from the local Target for us! Talk about going above and beyond! I have never experienced that level of thoughtfulness from hotel staff. That kind gesture alone will make me return. Thank you for a great experience all around. The location is perfect as well. Plenty to do in the area and all of the food options were excellent. Del Frisco’s Grille is right across the street where we had dinner our first night.

Fantastic base for exploring NYC! So convenient being walking distance to Grand Central Station and lots of food options. Loved the free walking tours offered to Pod guests, and the ground floor bar was nice to have as an option on site too. The roof top was closed when I visited in Winter, which was a shame, as it has spectacular views out over the city. Room was comfortable, clean and had everything you need. Great value for money too - you can't beat Pod 39 if you're staying in Manhattan on a budget and plan to spend your days sightseeing.
