Room was small but clean. Quick check in

Nice but feels old in a bad way. Obviously it's a historic hotel but even the newer updates are worn out. The door seals are nonexistent, we heard every conversation of passerbys.

We had a great stay. The place was very well kept, clean and comfy. It was a short walk to many sites. The rooftop patio was a definite added bonus. We didn’t use the parking but the instructions were very clear on how to if you needed. It would’ve been nice to have some added amenities like dish soap and dish cloths but other than that, it really had everything we needed. The neighbourhood felt safe and it was quite clean compared to other areas we walked through. The host are very quick at returning messages isn’t answering questions we had. They were very accommodating and we would gladly stay here again in the future.

The lobby and front of the hotel is beautiful however the rooms are not. They are dated, dark and grungy looking. He toilet is my bathroom kept running for hours, the bathroom door wouldn’t close and we had to get an engineer in to fix the air conditioning more than once. Given what they charge and the location, the rooms need a lot of work and I believe the hotel should invest into this. We couldn’t use the amenities as everything was closed due to the Oscar’s. This should have been communicated when booking the hotel, not 2 days prior to checking in. Overall disappointing experience.

Wow, I stayed at the property for a conference but I can’t wait to go back for personal travel. Absolutely beautiful and so luxurious.

This hotel & room is very clean, quiet, staff courteous, working amenties with no issue, self parking $12 per day & you pay when you check in., so you have 2cseparate charges the hotel deposit & parking fee

Same great price for the location. Unfortunately upon checking in they informed me that the AC in my room was not working and so they put a fan in my room. The first fan didn’t work so I had them replace it and that one worked. The guy who checked me in waved the parking fee as a way to make up for the inconvenience. LA was in the middle of a heatwave and during the day the room was somewhat warm but it was fine at night and in the morning. I did have to keep the windows open which allowed for a moderate amount of noise. I’d go back but will maybe skip it for my next couple trips until I think their AC problems are fixed.

The staff here are really nice. There are added expenses and parking at check-in. This is DTLA, so I wasn't surprised. The kitchen is nice and having laundry is worth it on those long stays. There were some minor repairs noticed at the property, but nothing major. If you have a family I would recommend staying here.
