Room and parts of the hotel were very nice, others requiring update. Main restaurant experience not for the feint of heart in the middle of summer holiday season and though food choice was reasonable, quality not as hoped. €20 per person à la carte worth it and eating at Bohemia for €50 per person was nice, but for one of us getting a bit sick, likely from a shellfish dish. There are two distinct hotels, Bohemia looks far better and would have been worth paying the extra (à la carte restaurants included, upgraded rooms, beach facilities etc). Pools good, food and drinks availability was reasonable, no pool service though (even for towels). All sun beds towelled up by mid morning but many-to-most unoccupied. No attempts by the hotel to prevent towel placement nor clear away used but now unoccupied beds. Always seemed to be bin bags left in the area outside our room. Lots of staff, most generally helpful, except strangely Guest Services who seemed completely disinterested / unapproachable / unknowledgeable when asked to assist with bookings etc. From a service perspective, not what I’ve come to expect from a 5 star hotel.

My wife surprised me with a holiday to the Maxx Royal Belek Golf Resort for my 50th birthday. We just got back today, and I am only giving this resort a 5 star rating because there isn’t an option for a 10star!!! I am well travelled, and this was one of the best hotels I have stayed at. The food and service was amazing, room spotless! We began to experience their stellar service from the booking process up until after we got back, and yes, that included the VIP fast track service through the airport that made us feel really special. Our Maxx Assistants were seriously on the ball, and throughout our experience, they thought about what we needed or wanted before we even knew it ourselves. We were presented with a pillow and room fragrance menu, to test and pick from when we checked into our room, and the level of attention to detail by the cleaners and night turn down service was outstanding! All the staff bring their A game & go many extra miles to make sure that your experience is unmatched. We had the best Maxx assistants that we could have asked for. Behind the scenes unknown to me, our assistants Behnam & Aleksandra helped my wife to put together a video of birthday tributes from friends and family across the world which were played to me in a private cinema setting, when all along I thought it was a movie we were going to watch. This experience left me in tears!!! This place is very family friendly, so we’ll be going back with my family this year! 10 star!!!

Second time visiting this hotel. It never disappoints.

We arrived late at night and were upgraded to a lovely room. All staff were helpful and friendly. There was plenty of food choices and activities to do.

Hotel is lovely, very big. Staff were friendly and welcoming. Rooms were a great size with plenty of room for everyone. They had tea/coffee making facilities, fridge, great view. The hotel wasn’t overly noisy even with lots of families. Lovely spa facilities and excellent facilities for children in the children centre. Pool and slides were good. Plenty of food options in the restaurants but can get very busy. My only dislike of the hotel is that the pools depth were not suitable for small children. My daughter and nephew age 8 were not able to stand in any of the pools as they were all 1.40 depths. Most children had to wear/buy floats. For a hotel with 10 pools this is not great as they should have pools with smaller depths. The hotel also does not provide irons for guests to use so if staying here, bring your own.
