Hotel Thrive is an oasis on the edge of Thamel. The rooms are clean, the staff friendly and helpful and the tropical courtyard lovely.

There are lots of hotels to stay at in Kathmandu, but there is only one Shankar. Shankar has unmatched hospitality, with my personal favorite hosts Mr. Puri & Mr. Sharan who are both super stars. I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. Shankar also has an amazing garden to relax in and connect with nature after a long day in the city.

Excellent service all around

Great location, Clean room and facilities, although needs updating. (Elevator doesn't go all the way to the lobby) Very friendly and helpful staff. Nice restaurant and shops. Airport transfer available, which was very convenient. Good Nepalese food in restaurant.

The Milestone has a friendly team of staff and is well managed. The restaurant has multiple options of breakfasts available and the rooms have really good a/c which is a huge relief during hot days. Multiple staff at the front desk are knowledgable on all the best spots in the area and will be able to guide you on pretty much anything you will need! Awesome stay guys, won't forget it! Truely appriciate the hospitality.
