Great stay for the price! Staff were really helpful, room was clean and tidy. The rooftop eating area was really scenic! Location is close to Thamel but away from the noise

There are lots of hotels to stay at in Kathmandu, but there is only one Shankar. Shankar has unmatched hospitality, with my personal favorite hosts Mr. Puri & Mr. Sharan who are both super stars. I always looked foward to chatting with them at meal times. Shankar has a mid-century modern motif, and it keeps the heritage of Nepal and Newari culture alive. Shankar also has an amazing garden to relax in and connect with nature after a long day in the city.

I had the pleasure of meeting several staff members during my stay, all of whom went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and accommodate requests such as luggage storage and early check-in. The complimentary foot massage was an unexpected and much-appreciated touch. I look forward to staying with you again on my next visit. Heater had issues, make sure to book the cheaper rooms as the upgraded ones have insane amounts of noise, you will not sleep. Staff was good if not super informed. Breakfast was not good from ala carte. Location was very good.

The Milestone has a friendly team of staff and is well managed. The restaurant has multiple options of breakfasts available and the rooms have really good a/c which is a huge relief during hot days. Multiple staff at the front desk are knowledgable on all the best spots in the area and will be able to guide you on pretty much anything you will need! Awesome stay guys, won't forget it! Truely appriciate the hospitality.
