Foss Creek Pathway Kid friendly Vacations

We recently stayed at this small boutique hotel for our elopement and overall had a great experience. The hotel itself is super cute, charming, and has a lot of character. We especially loved the old-school San Francisco-style elevator, which added a fun and unique touch to the stay. The rooms were clean, modern, and comfortable. We also appreciated that breakfast was included, which was a nice bonus. Before check-in, it was a little difficult to get in touch with staff, but once we arrived, everything went smoothly. The staff was friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. We initially couldn’t find an iron in the room, but the staff quickly found one for us. We also needed a remote, which was brought up the next day. They were attentive and made sure our needs were taken care of. The surrounding area on the street next door felt a little concerning, but the actual block the hotel is on felt fine. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider coming back.

Breakfast beats most hotels providing free breakfasts. The staff was exceptionally helpful and cheerful. The room is decent size and clean.

I loved everything except the bartender. She so obviously does not like her job.

The building itself is truly impressive, with a sense of history and grandeur that makes a strong first impression. The location is also excellent, very convenient for exploring San Francisco. That said, some areas of the hotel feel dated. The hallways in particular look old and have a harsh white lighting that feels more like a hospital than a luxury property. The rooms have high ceilings and a good size, which is a plus, but the bathrooms are relatively small. The white lighting in the rooms also creates a very cold ambiance, which takes away from the overall comfort. In general, much of the furniture throughout the hotel could benefit from a renovation. Overall, it’s a beautiful historic property in a great location. With some thoughtful modernization that respects and blends with the hotel’s classic character, it could truly be exceptional.

The property and rooms were beautiful. The room service menu was very limited especially because all the dining options were luxury. There didn't feel like there was a casual restaurant or coffee shop on site unless I missed it. I also would have expected someone to help us with our lugguge upon arrival-a true bell hop-but the arrival was just OK. It would be great if they offered a golf cart for guests who are down in the rooms by the tennis courts. Otherwise, stunning property.

Walkable distance to Grace cathedral, Chinatown, Cerberus car museum & restaurants. Clean& quiet room Shampoo & conditioner didn’t suit my hair.
