Coronation Island Kid friendly Vacations

The bed was comfortable and view was great. The lighting in the bathroom was dim with no way to adjust it. The desk lamp was not working. Trying to get the desk lamp working, I unplugged the snack stand by mistake. My friend told me I would be charged even though I didnt touch anything on the stand. I called the front desk and Angela said the Mini Bar Manager said he’d take care of it. The towels were not plush. Very hard. I chose this hotel at the behest of my friend; however, I probably would not stay there again if I’m paying for it.

very thin walls between the rooms, only a few staff members checking in guests resulted in a 35 minute wait.

Really great spot. Love the low key aesthetic and cool design. The tiles in the bar area are great. Nice breakfast spot by pool, and beach club is outstanding. Only small issue is there were a bunch of loud little kids shouting and cannon-balling into the pool. Super disruptive to the peaceful setting and zero was done to ask the kids to chill just a bit. Overall - super spot and renovation has made it a gem again.

If you’re staying at the Westgate I think you know what you want and what you’re in for. Room and casino were clean, but we stayed there for the metro access and cheaper rates. I’ll say that the staff were all friendly and did great jobs, my only true complaint is the typical way they try to “talk” to you to get you in for a time-share/vacation club pitch. Lie and say you’re under 26 or whatever the cutoff is.

It was clean but sometimes they would forgot to put toilet paper or hand soap in the room. Another thing that I didn’t love was feeling like my door was going to open because it didn’t seem super stable. We normally put the chair in the room, in front of the door to keep it stabilized. It was a good property for what we paid for. We got what we paid for. I really appreciated the microwave and the fridge in the room. It was so nice! We got what we paid for so I can’t complain.

This apartment was perfect for what we needed. It is central to many parts so you could walk if you wanted. We did rent a car so it was great that free parking for 2 spots was available. It was clean and had everything we needed for our short stay. I'd likely come and stay again when I am back in the area
