The property was recently renovated so everything is fresh and new. The Infinity pool is small but special. The bell staff arranged our taxi. Beach towels available at the bell desk. The protected beach is right across the street. Easy walking distance to restaurants, shops, and the International Market. A great property.

In the middle of extensive renovations the Outrigger Beach Resort is way below its excellent rating. The two lobbies are filled with detours, construction barriers, workers, dust and construction materials. After staying in a newly renovated room, the Wyndham Wisdom is totally missing. The floor plan is awkward, the electrical design for lighting will disturb your sleep and there is little storage space for unpacking. The specifics are too numerous to list. I won’t be coming back after decades of visits. But, once you get a chance to actually sleep, the beds and bedding are great.

This is a pretty new house that is located up in Mākaha Valley. It has a beautiful view of the mountains above the valley. It is only a short drive down to the local surfing beach as well as other local beaches. Our party of six was very comfortable here.

We had 3 adults staying there. It was advertised for 3 adults, however, the futon foldout was only big enough for a kid. We took pictures of our adult kids and their heads went over the futon. However. After complaining, the owners dropped off a double/queen blow up mattress, about the 3 day into the stay, meanwhile one of the kids had to move into our room.
So, bad news, the room was not set up for 3 adults, but good news after days of complaining, the bed was corrected.
