Hontoon Island State Park Kid friendly Vacations

Room was very spacious and clean upon arrival. Was able to checkin a hr early and the resort has very many amenities. The mexican restaurants brunch was 5 stars. Will definitely be back!

Clean , large rooms

Everything was great at this hotel, except one major issue: there was no functioning internet. In theory, the hotel offers Wi-Fi, but in reality, it simply didn’t work. We were originally placed on the 9th floor, and when we reported the issue, hotel management moved us to the 8th floor where their internet vendor claimed a router was located. Unfortunately, that didn’t help, there was still no internet access on that floor either. Aside from that, everything else was excellent. The location is perfect - very close to Universal Studios and many restaurants. The hotel looks newly renovated, it’s clean, and the pool water was warm and pleasant. However, the restaurant on-site only operates until 3 p.m., which isn’t very convenient. We rented a two-bedroom condo that had large smart TVs in both bedrooms and the living room, but oddly, the TVs didn’t function as smart TVs. When we asked about it, hotel staff explained that the hotel doesn’t have the proper license for smart TV features. If reliable internet is important to you, keep this in mind. Otherwise, it’s a solid place to stay.

Everything was great! Except the remote in living room did not want to work half the time. But we weren't there much due to visiting Disney. But at night we liked to wind down in living room. We never reached out to the front desk only cuz wasnt big enough deal. Perfect spot! Plenty of places to eat and pick up needed items. At night, traffic was busy, but not too bad. Close to Disney Parks. Very cute townhouses.

Easy check in and I enjoyed the restaurants! The room was also well kept. Very clean.

Clean room, nice staff, wonderful water activities

I will start off by saying the service was amazing, the staff are very friendly and accommodating. The place was very clean and smelled so good. The staff greet you everytime you leave and come back, the beds were very comfy and the entire hotel was modern. The only reason I wouldn’t give the hotel 5 stars are a few reasons that have nothing to do with the service. 1. The bathrooms are not built well, after every shower I had to throw multiple towels down on the floor because the shower would leak, causing water all over the bathroom floor. 2. The sofa in the bedroom was tan but had white stains all over it (not sure what they were but I’m sure you can imagine the possibilities) so we made sure not to touch the sofa the whole time we were there. 3. Hotel restaurant service was great however unfortunately I have to say the food was not 5 stars, had a couple let downs at the restaurant however the manager and server were kind enough to try to make up for our experience which really saved the night. Although it was nothing too major, it’s worth mentioning. I would definitely return and highly recommend hotel ette! :)
