Excellent location, not far from Darling Harbour and close to public transport. Room was clean and generous. The bathroom would benefit from a separate shower. Pool area and garden needs some renovations but still happy with the hotel.

PROs: The locations is great in a really cool old building. Very walkable to Pyrmont wharf, coffee shops, restaurants, Fish Market. The room was a nice size for a family. The swimming pool is great. CONs: The apartments are very tired…. It is clear that they haven’t been refreshed at all since the 90s. The carpet is really worn out. Not all of it can be attributed to age… they just desperately need to be deep cleaned. I would expect a lot better for the money we paid.

Room was good , bed were comfy , but air con was dripping water off the outlet due to the filters being dirty I’d say , looking in the vent where the filter was in looked really dirty , got dripped on as you walked past the outlet vent

We had a fantastic stay at JW Marriott Surfers Paradise and would absolutely return. From the moment we arrived, the service was warm, attentive, and genuinely welcoming. The check-in process was smooth, and we felt well looked after throughout our stay. The hotel itself is beautifully maintained, with a bright, relaxed atmosphere that makes it easy to unwind. Our room was spacious, very clean, and thoughtfully designed, with a comfortable bed and great views. Everything felt high quality without being overly formal. One of the standout features is the pool area, which is exceptional. The lagoon-style pool with the sandy beach and the saltwater fish experience really sets this property apart. It feels more like a resort than a city hotel, which made our stay feel like a true getaway. The location is also ideal—close enough to Surfers Paradise to access restaurants, shops, and the beach easily, but just far enough away to feel calm and quiet. Overall, this is a well-run hotel that delivers a premium experience without losing a personal touch. Highly recommended for couples or anyone looking for a relaxing escape on the Gold Coast.

Friendly staff. Very clean appartment. Fully equipped with everything you need. Just starting to show its age but didn’t bother us. Nothing to worry about. Very close to tram stop. Only thing was construction next door but that’s not Artique fault
