Pineapple Route Golf Vacations

It was right on the beach. Our room had a kitchen with large refrigerator/ freezer, small stove, oven, dishwasher. The food was very good.

The resort was above and beyond our expectations. The breakfast buffet was outstanding - especially the fresh pastries and the omelette bar manned by Heinz. The snorkeling right off shore was fabulous. If we ever are able to return to Moorea, we will definitely stay at the Sofitel Kia Ora again!

Wonderful property with access to swim in pool or area in Laguna to snorkel and see beautiful fish, eels and turtles. Great restaurants, entertainment and shows. But take your own blow dryer because theirs was like blow drying your hair on a very low setting. The drains are very slow so a 5 to 10 minute shower will incur water about 2 inches of standing water. I contacted the staff about this issue and they send maintenance but nothing was done to fix the issue. I loved the views and resort but would try another location next time since standing in water showering is gross to me and I travel light so I have little room for a blow dryer. I loved the Sunday breakfast show and Saturday evening bands.

Very handy for the port if you’re getting on a ferry or ship—a few minutes walk. Staff were friendly, room was comfortable if rather dark-everything worked, coffee included with coffee maker, nice balcony, not tons of charm but fine. Has double windows to tone down noise from street, which worked well. Walking distance to market, Pearl museum, City Hall (nice colonial building), Cathedral, beachfront park.
